Who It’s For:
Many employees who are neurodivergent, re-entering the workforce, or transitioning from high school to employment face unique challenges that traditional workplace supports don’t address. 


Employment & Transitions is designed for:

  • Neurodivergent and equity-deserving adults seeking competitive, meaningful work.
  • Individuals re-entering the workforce after a long absence due to health, caregiving, or other life circumstances.
  • New Canadians who need domestic experience and workplace connections.
  • High school youth preparing for the transition to adulthood and employment.


What We Do

  • Connect employers with employees by bridging gaps in communication, expectations, and workplace culture.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to help participants build sustainable routines and work practices.
  • Offer tailored training and ongoing support so participants can maintain employment and grow in confidence.
  • Partner with employers to ensure inclusive hiring and retention strategies are successful in the long term.


Types of Support Available:

  • Job Training & Skill-Building: Practical, hands-on training to develop workplace skills and confidence.
  • On-the-Job Support: Acting as a liaison to ensure clear communication, problem-solving, and accommodations.
  • Youth Transition Support: Career exploration, workplace readiness, and mentorship for high school students preparing for life after graduation.
  • Long-Term Career Planning: Setting achievable goals and mapping out pathways for career advancement.
